Didn't get past first base

Tried to buy two CST 26" tires online. "Add to cart" brought up the message, "Maximum number of this item already in cart".
The cart icon showed "0", which was confirmed when I hit, "Show cart".
Maybe the message was supposed to be, "We don't/can't ship this item"?
Either way, I didn't get to order the tires and I now have no confidence in the company's ability to process any online orders.
